ALYS BEACH, FL.āOctober 1, 2014–To support the fight against breast cancer, Alys Beach kicks off Caliza Goes Pink for the month of October. Chef Kevin Kormanās delectable five-course tasting menu prepared with ultimate cancer-ļ¬ghting ingredients will be available Tuesday through Saturday, 5:30pm-10:00pm at Caliza Restaurant. Also, Fonville Press will showcase two specialty drinks throughout the month. A portion of the dinner and beverage proceeds will be donated to Sacred Heart Cancer Center Emerald Coast Servicesand Susan G. Komen Foundation.
“Our goal is to raise awareness and funding for breast cancer research,” said Chef Korman. “Breast cancer affects thousands of women each year, and it is very rewarding to come together with the community to raise money toward fighting the disease. My mother is a survivor and I have a vested interest in making Caliza Goes Pink a huge success.ā
