Alys Beach, Florida – (January 7, 2008) – Locals and visitors are invited to explore several beautiful new courtyard homes at Alys Beach on Saturday, January 19th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
A fully furnished home has just been completed at 47 Seven Wells Court, with exquisite interiors by Beth Dillard of Rosemary Beach's Notre Maison Design.
"We meshed clean lines in furnishings and natural textures into the architectural elements like reclaimed red gum floors and cabinets, shell stone and plaster walls," said Dillard. "Natural driftwood lighting from France, handmade leather poufs, hemp slip covered couches, and a custom Peruvian walnut platform bed capture an ethnic chic style found in St. Barts and the Cote d'Azur."
The open house tour will also feature other furnished homes, including a new residence at 24 Ladybug Court. The home's romantically eclectic interior was designed by Susan Bohlert Massey, and features black slate flooring, with large French doors leading from the gourmet kitchen, master bedroom and living room into a private courtyard with a desert rose ceramic tile fountain. The 2,509 square-foot 3-bedroom home was recently highlighted in The Wall Street Journal.
The homes are a short stroll to the beach and to Caliza Pool, Alys Beach's dramatic new resort amenity. All homes in Alys Beach are built to Fortified…For Safer Living® building standards, as certified by the Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS), and are also built to the Green Home Designation Standard of the Florida Green Building Coalition.
Open to the public, the January 19th tour of homes will also feature live entertainment, delicious food and fine wines from around the world.
