Seaside, Florida – (November 19, 2008) – 30A-Radio 107.1 FM, a non-profit extension of Seaside Neighborhood School, will host its 2nd annual "Radiothon" fundraiser on Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6. The live on-air charity event will feature a roster of local personalities, business owners and musicians.

"We really need to raise $20,000 to keep the station in operation, and we’re so fortunate to have such loyal listeners and supporters," said Leslie Kolovich, 30A-Radio’s General Manager. It takes an estimated $50,000 per year to keep the radio station operating, with sponsorships helping make-up the difference. "This year, in addition to our guest DJs, we also have an incredible line-up of entertainers who will perform live on the air, including Dread Clampitt, Geoff McBride, Tim Jackson and many others."

During the event, "Guest DJs" will compete to see who can raise the most money to become the station’s "Top Dog" for 2009. Last year's Radiothon raised over $15,000, with Larry Davis of Davis Properties personally raising over $6,500. Alys Beach also made a $4,000 contribution.

This year's "Top Dog" winner will receive free promotion for one year, on-air, as well as on the station's website.

30-A Radio 107.1 FM is a non-profit 501(c)3 and is owned by Seaside Neighborhood School. The station is utilized by students for educational purposes and is staffed by local volunteers. The station is available locally at 107.1 FM and streaming live online at www.30Aradio.org.

Tax-deductible donations can be made by visiting www.30Aradio.org and clicking the "DONATE HERE" button, or by calling the station at 850-534-0979. Donations can also be mailed to: 30A-Radio, PO Box 4610, Seaside, FL 32459.

"30A-Radio has become such an important and unique voice in our community," said Kolovich. "We hope everyone will listen-in on December 5th and 6th, and will consider supporting the station in some way."
