The Caliza Restaurant is soon to open at Alys Beach. The new restaurant will offer guests and residents poolside dining and is part of a larger plan for a bustling Town Center. Alys Beach hopes to offer unique shops, restaurants and other amenities. But for now, all are invited to eat at Caliza Restaurant. MORE

Alys Beach will hold an all-day beach bash on Saturday. May 24th, beginning at 9 a.m. "Piper's Beach Bash" is free and open to the public and will last into the night. Activities include coastal kayak tours, courtyard home tours, live music, beach volleyball and a beach bouncer wet slide. MORE

This Labor Day weekend Alys Beach will host “Digital Graffiti.” It's an event that celebrates and recognizes digital artists, and it's the first of its kind. The artists will project their work onto Alys Beach's famous white walls, using them as a sort of projection screen. Long an underground phenomenon, “Digital Graffiti" seeks to elevate this form of expression into a recognized form of art. MORE

This week Alys Beach welcomed another new eatery, "George's." The building is the former Seagrove restaurant, lifted off its foundation and moved 7 miles. "George's" will open later this summer. In the meantime, all are welcome to eat at “Piper’s,” a mobile cart located on the south side of Scenic 30A. There you can get hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches, hamburgers and cheeseburgers, tortillas, ice cream bars, brownies and cold sodas. MORE

Digital artists are invited to submit their works of art to Alys Beach for judging at our "Digital Graffiti" event, happening Labor Day weekend. "Digital Graffiti" seeks to celebrate and promote the world's best digital artists. At the event the digital artists will project their artwork onto the town's white walls. MORE
