The 2nd Annual Change the World Fundraiser will be held Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007 at Alys Beach at 5 p.m. The highlight will be the exclusive performance of three well-known Nashville singer/songwriters. Greg Barnhill, Jamie O’Neal and Tony Haselden will unite to improve the lives of Ukrainian orphans. Tickets to the event are $100. MORE

"DJ Harry" is coming back to Alys Beach on Saturday, October 25th. He will help residents and guests celebrate Noche de los Muertos, or "Night of the Dead," with an adult dance and costume party. The party will be held at Caliza, rain or shine, from 8 p.m. until Midnight. MORE

Alys Beach is holding a sneak peek at Caliza Pool for locals and guests on Saturday, October 20, 2007. Along the the pool, visitors can see beautiful new homes as well as the new Resource Center. The Resource Center features interactive exhibits. Caliza Pool features a large saltwater pool, family pool, huge lap pool, spa whirlpool and outdoor living areas surrounded by tropical palms and gardens. MORE

One of Birmingham, Alabama's own has joined the Alys Beach sales team in Alys Beach, Florida. Annie Mangrum is a Birmingham native, born and raised. She went to school at the University of Alabama. She lived in Houston and Los Angeles before moving to the 30A area in 1990. MORE
